Brilliant at trapping up to 95% of dirt, dust and mud this multi-coloured check doormat is the most environmentally friendly mat available so is great at keeping your floors and your conscience clean. You can use this mat in the hallway, kitchen, even outdoors and it can absorb up to 3 times its own weight in water so helps to prevent and slips or trips on a wet floor. The cotton and microfibre tufts get deep into the tread of shoes or muddy paws to protect your carpets and the fun coloured pattern helps to disguise the mud on the mat so you don't need to wash it as often. When it needs to be washed simply pop in the machine at 30° and it will come out brand new!
The Rug mats are made up of three different layers all using 100% recycled materials. The tufts are made from recycled cotton and microfibres and are bonded to the flexible, anti-slip, rubber backing made from recycled industrial plastics by an extra tough fibre membrane made from recycled plastic bottle lid tops.
Rugs work hard to make their rugs as environmentally friendly as possible. Each year they recycle:
- Over 5.9million T-Shirts to use in the cotton tufting
- Over 7.5million plastic bottles to create the extra tough membrane
- Over 2.5million litres of water to run the mills
- Over 100 tonnes of recycled industrial plastics to use in the backing

Packaging includes a recycled cardboard header, and are rolled up in a recycled plastic bag to keep the rug clean and together during storage and delivery.
